Anyone lose player contracts when some1 quits before the coin toss

i get like 2 k coins but this happened to me 2x in a row and i had no idea then i encounter an 81 (im an 83on my sub account) find out he is really one of those guys who doesnt play his starters right away and he has the hofers and a bounch of other high 90s so i quit and boom like 6 of my starters have no contacts and i only 2 gold extensions
